The need for a community of jurors can change the decision and outcome of someone’s life!  Get involved!

The Harris County District Clerk’s Office held a press conference last week to discuss the critical importance of participating in jury service. This election year is a major one where all voices need to be heard. So, we would like to encourage your family and friends to respond to their jury summons to help create a fair and diverse justice system that represents YOU.

That's why Marilyn Burgess, Harris County District Clerk’s mission to increase jury attendance is long-term and requires a call to action which is needed to maintain fairness. As community members, your voice is important!

On Tuesday, May 7th, a resolution to promote Jury Appreciation Week will help to push this call to action forward! We are relying on everyone to amplify this message in the coming weeks.

It is time to share this post about what you think and why it is important to have higher jury attendance that represents our community.

Involvement in jury trials requires your support. Please spread the word!

Will you join the call to action on May 7th?

Let's make it happen together!
