Each year we work hard to continue the
legacy of service that has become our hallmark. Despite many economic challenges, our programs remain strong and the services we provide for our clients and the community at large are still in demand. Because the needs of the disenfranchised remain, the mission of the Houston Area Urban League continues – To enable African-Americans and other minorities to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights. Through increased partnerships, like Freeport LNG, we will continue to expand the services we offer. We are very grateful for this pledge that will help us to continue empowering communities and changing lives”.
